Adobe Photoshop 23.1.1.202 stutter at 120Hz, 60fps limit and Flic Panning disabled
Adobe Photoshop panning fps: Flick Panning enabled vs disabled and vs older version. If I disable Flick Panning in Photoshop 23.1.1.202 the panning is limited to 60FPS on my 120Hz display. It doesn’t do this in older versions of Photoshop. I also noticed that even with Flick Panning enabled it stutters a little.

Here I film the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with a Sony A7C and Sony FE 50mm macro lens spilling some water. I used Q&S to film at 1080p 120fps and store as a 1080p 30fps video. Then I used Optical Flow frame interpolation in Adobe Premiere to make a 60fps video. Yes the S21 Ultra is water proof 😛

When I record fraps video of Supreme Commander Forged Alliance, the video ends up with crackling audio. This happens whether the CPU or GPU is overclocked or not. My old Asus motherboards never did this. DPC Latency monitor says everything is fine during recording

It happens on my Asus ROG Maximus XII Formula as well. I discovered it crackles only if my speaker setup is set to 7.1. 5.1 and stereo works fine.
7 5960X Samsung 850 EVO vs i9 9900KS Optane 905P post and boot time
The faster CPU and Optane 905P SSD makes a difference but the slowest factor is the Asus Rampage V Extreme. It has many features and that makes it post and boot slowly, even without memory training.

Here I filmed my PCs loading Satellite Reign. Even though I use the very same Samsung 850 EVO SATA SSD, the new system is considerably faster. I’ve seen this in other games too, maybe I’ll make more game loading time videos.

Samsung SATA SSD vs Optane 905P SSD Disk Cleaner scan time
I test the speed Disk Cleaner scans my main drive on a Samsung 850 EVO SATA SSD and an Intel Optane 905p SSD. The CPU and motherboard is also different. It is to see how much faster my new build is compared to the old one. See building Gaara i9-9900KS RTX 2080 Ti Z390 Aorus Master.
