I caught a hoverfly on a pink flower. I used manual focus and focus highlights and took several shots and one came out very good. I forgot to set shutter speed to 1/160 so the edge of its eyes are a bit ghosted.
This is my camera setup. I use a Sony A7C camera, Laowa 85mm 2:1 macro lens (which both are full-frame), a Godox V350s flash and a home-made diffuser/reflector.
