Mye rart man skal diskutere på ITavisen ;-)

Religionen har nok hatt sin funksjon i mindre opplyste tider, 
da fattigdom, analfabetisme og uvitenhet rådet. Den har gitt 
en del felles normer og leveregler som har hjulpet til med å 
organisere samfunnet. Men, og det er et stort MEN.....religionen 
har også vært makthavernes redskap for å kontrollere befolkningen, 
gitt grobunn for maktmisbruk og undertrykkelse, hindret fri 
tenking og utvikling, i det hele tatt har det blitt begått så 
mye dævelskap pga organisert religion, at vi trygt kan si at 
verden hadde vært et bedre sted uten.....

John Lennon sa det egentlig best, i sangen Imagine:

Imagine there's no heaven,

Above us only sky,
Imagine all the people
living for today...

Imagine there's no countries,
