I remember reading something that John Carmack said about 
the FX. He said it was a good card, but the noise and that 
pissed him off. He also said, even though it has CineFX, 
and more instructions; that if they were to use even half 
of the instructions they can for a game it would 
dramatically bring it to a crawl. The technology is there, 
but it can't be used yet by the way Nvidia wants it to be 
used. The cards need to get faster to be able to handel all
 the instruction sets for a scene. He said it would be 
great for 3d rendering but not that important when it comes 
to games.
